Delta Metals Inc. is proud of the products and services we provide to our community, and we want you to join our team!</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\"><span>·         </span></span>Operate ironworker power shears, grinders, metal forming equipment, and a variety of other welding equipment and hand tools</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\"><span>·         </span></span>Analyze plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of welding assignments</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Follow welding procedure specifications when welding and efficiently produce quality welds</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Perform or assist with fit<span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria Math',serif\">‐</span>up and preparation of welds and with post weld cleanup, inspection, and repair</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman regarding issues and concerns on the job site</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Comply with all HMT safety policies and programs</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"color: black\">Review schematics to ensure you have the proper equipment and materials; recommend supplies and materials that need to be ordered</span><br></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"color: black\">Set up your welding equipment on-site</span><br></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"color: black\">Heat the metal using your torch and shape the material according to the design</span><br></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"color: black\">Join the metal piece to the rest of the construction</span><br></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"color: black\">Follow all safety protocols and clean up your workspace upon completion</span><br></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Must wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment (such as steel<span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria Math',serif\">‐</span>toe shoes, ear and eye protection)</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Aptos Display',sans-serif\">Must maintain your face daily so that a respirator/face mask can seal properly (some examples include being free of facial hair and/or clean shaven) </span></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Aptos Display',sans-serif\">Perform daily housekeeping in the shop</span></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Aptos Display',sans-serif\">Perform other duties as assigned by management</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Applicants must be able to pass 2, 3, 4G plate tests</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Must have a working knowledge of welding techniques (Electric Arc, MIG, and TIG), tools, and equipment</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Must have basic fabrication and layout skills</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Must have basic math competence</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Must be able to operate and read a tape measure</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Ability to read and write in English required</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span>A high school diploma or GED certificate</span></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span>An AWS certificate (preferred)</span></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">8+ years welding and fabricating experience a MUST</span></span></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span><span>Blueprint reading skills</span></p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Requires the ability to use a phone and tablet to input data, such a timecards</p>\n<p><span><span>·         </span></span>Bilingual (Spanish) a plus for this role</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Location:</span><span><br>218 East Lathrop Avenue, Savannah, GA 31415</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Environment:</span><span> Work is typically performed while standing, in a non-climate-controlled machine shop or on job sites with varying weather and working conditions.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: </span><span>Starting at $25/hour, but TBD based on work experience &amp;
