This role is often the first point of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and positive patient experience.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities include:</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Patient registration and insurance verification&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Appointment scheduling, check-in, and check-out&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Managing incoming calls and electronic communications&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Patient account support and administrative duties&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Scanning documents, running reports, and maintaining accurate records&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Providing clear explanations of services, programs, and eligibility requirements&nbsp;</p><p>We are looking for someone who is organized, patient-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy.</p><p><br></p><p>Experience &amp; Qualifications</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>One year of experience in a medical or dental office is preferred, but not required&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong customer service experience is highly valued&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>High school diploma or equivalent required&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Excellent communication and phone skills&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience with electronic medical records preferred; NextGen experience is a plus&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>We understand that many great healthcare professionals start without prior medical office experience.
