font-size: 12pt\">Design and implement features across application, data, and infrastructure layers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Own and evolve core platform architecture across both Rails and Python systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Make high-impact architectural decisions (service boundaries, modularization, data access patterns, scalability)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Build and optimize high-scale background processing systems (notifications, scoring, ingestion, exports, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Develop workflows spanning APIs, background jobs, ingestion pipelines, search/discovery, and reporting</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and improve platform reliability</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proven experience as a Senior or Staff-level engineer building production SaaS or data platforms</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Deep expertise in Ruby on Rails, including performance, architecture, and long-lived systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks preferred)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience across both application platforms and data systems (APIs, ingestion, pipelines, reporting)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong background in background processing systems (e.g., Sidekiq, Redis, queues, schedulers)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Solid understanding of PostgreSQL schema design and performance optimization</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience designing and operating production APIs (REST, auth, versioning, validation)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Comfort working in cloud-native, containerized environments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif;
