(FMI)</span></li>\n<li><span>Meet minimum background check requirements for FMI</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">Summary of Job Duties</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Work 10-12 hour shifts at least 5 days a week</span></li>\n<li><span>The shift may vary between day or night, but is consistent for the entire week</span></li>\n<li><span>Responsible for overseeing safe and efficient rail operations while unloading</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain a safe work environment</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to respond to an incident or accident</span></li>\n<li><span>Climb up and down the transloader throughout the day</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Inspect, service, and troubleshoot faulty mechanical equipment</span></li>\n<li><span>Work outside during extreme temperatures and inclement weather</span></li>\n<li><span>Communicate with Dispatch, Drivers, customers, and Terminal manager</span></li>\n<li><span>Handle stressful situations, make quick decisions, and react efficiently &amp; safely</span></li>\n<li><span>Report when railcars are empty and require switching out</span></li>\n<li><span>Occasional work at our Port of Tucson and other various customer sites/locations</span></li>\n<li><span>Mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and isolate malfunction - Water system to supply eyewash and shower stations, generator, compressor</span></li>\n<li><span>Operation of basic hand tools</span></li>\n<li><span>Other duties as assigned </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">Abilities and Physical Requirements</span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>This job is physically demanding</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to lift, carry, pull, push and or move up to 80lbs</span></li>\n<li><span>Twisting, stretching, reaching, squatting, crawling on hands and knees &amp; kneeling</span></li>\n<li><span>Consistent climbing of stairs and/or ladders, working at elevations of 20 feet above the ground</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to stand for long periods of time  </span></li>\n<li><span>Conduct tasks while wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE)</span></li>\n<li><span>Wear a face respirator and additional PPE when required while performing tasks </span></li>\n<li><span>Other configurations of PPE are required at all times while on mine and/or customer property</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) requirements:</span></p>\n<p><span>PPE is required and must be worn in accordance with company policy and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each worksite. PPE is typically issued by our safety department and may include but is not limited to:</span></p>\n<p><span>•             Hard hat with face shield</span></p>\n<p><span>•             Goggles/Spoggles</span></p>\n<p><span>•             Gloves</span></p>\n<p><span>•             Long sleeve shirt</span></p>\n<p><span>•             Reflective vest</span></p>\n<p><span>•             Hearing protection</span></p>\n<p><span>•             Respirator Mask (varies according to the worksite)</span></p>\n<p><span>•             Steel toe boots (not supplied by CTI)</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Acid operations</span> are outside in the elements and require a chemical resistant acid suit, rubber gloves, rubber boots, along with a full face respirator and any other required PPE to be worn at all times while in a “Hot Zone”.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Respirators:</span> CTI employees are required to wear a full and/or half-mask respirator for any job task that requires a respirator. Respirators (PPE) are distributed by CTI and are used to protect employees from those occupational hazards caused by breathing contaminated air (harmful dust, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors).
