This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient operations through safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to safety standards.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">If you are a reliable, detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply today!</span></span></p><h3><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\">Primary Responsibilities:</span></h3><ul><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Safely operate motor vehicles between various locations and destinations</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Operate forklifts and general-purpose vehicles</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks including gas, oil, water, and safety items</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Fuel vehicles using an automated tracking system</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Load and unload cargo and baggage</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work areas</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Perform additional duties as assigned</p></li></ul><h3><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></h3><ul><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Familiarity with safe loading and unloading procedures for various types of cargo</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Proficiency in operating Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Clean driving record with no moving violations or accidents within the past three (3) years</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Strong time management and organizational skills</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Effective communication skills for interacting with personnel and customers</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and schedules</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Ability to navigate using GPS systems and read maps for route planning</p></li></ul><h3><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\">Required Education &amp; Experience:</span></h3><ul><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>High school diploma or equivalent</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Valid Class A Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL), maintained throughout employment</p></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Minimum one (1) year of CDL driving experience</p></li></ul><h3><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\">Preferred:</span></h3><ul><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\"><p>Minimum three (3) years of CDL driving experience</p></li></ul><h3><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\">Physical Requirements:</span></h3><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\">Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds independently (up to 100 pounds with assistance), and work in varying operational environments.</span></p><p><br></p><p><em><span style=\"font-size: 11px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">*The above-noted job description is not intended to describe, in detail, the multitude of tasks that may be assigned but rather to give the applicant a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of this position.
