The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping how engineers learn, communicate, and practice in an era of artificial intelligence, digital collaboration, and rapidly evolving societal challenges.</p><p>The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and scholarship at the intersection of engineering pedagogy and communication, while shaping institutional approaches to engineering education innovation, curriculum evolution, and AI-integrated learning environments. This position offers flexibility to develop a research program in areas such as: engineering rhetoric and technical communication; learning and pedagogy in the era of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI; AI-enabled tools in engineering practice and education; curriculum design and assessment in engineering; or the intersection of engineering communication with policy, regulation, sustainability, climate change, and societal impact.
