Description Registered Nurse - PACU Full Time Day Shift - TriHealth Bethesda Butler Hospital Location: 3125 Hamilton Mason Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011 Work Schedule: Full Time Days - (64 hours bi-weekly) Weekend, holiday and evening call rotation Join a mission ‑ driven, community ‑ focused hospital with convenient suburban access and easy parking. Our fast ‑ paced PACU supports surgery, endoscopy, and pain management across 3–4 ORs, 3 endoscopy suites, and 2 pain suites. The unit includes an 11 ‑ bay Pre ‑ Op area, a 14 ‑ bay PACU, and up to 7 additional Pre ‑ Op bays, with dedicated support for Interventional Radiology. We offer specialty certification reimbursement, an optional clinical ladder, and a comprehensive benefits package. (Required) Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in ED/ICU/Critical Care (Required) Experience in PACU or a similar setting is preferred Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle Registered Nurse Required ACLS PALS must be obtained within six months of hire Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Job Responsibilities: Perform initial and ongoing patient/family assessments and document per guidelines. Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care based on patient needs and expected outcomes. Provide safe, ethical, patient ‑ centered care while supporting dignity, diversity, and autonomy. Prioritize care based on patient condition and unit needs. Safely administer medications and treatments; perform technical skills per policy. Recognize and respond to emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions. Evaluate patient responses to care and revise plans in collaboration with the care team. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
