Join the adventure of a lifetime by becoming a teammate with Aerodyne Industries and work on projects that will define our future.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA&#39;s Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion MultiPurpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supplier Quality Engineers play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality and reliability of products and processes procured from external suppliers. They work closely with cross-functional teams to inspect and validate products, review documents and designs against their requirements, develop and implement quality control measures, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous process enhancements.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in the evaluation of supplier selection and performance.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs assessments to evaluate supplier capability and Quality systems.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures compliance to AS9100 8.4.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage and maintain Approved Supplier Lists including Special Processes and NADCAP verifications.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Apply quality codes to purchase requisitions per engineering requirements.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage and resolve supplier non conformances&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage supplier corrective action as necessary&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Occasional travel required to support supplier evaluations and source inspections.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to travel and work off nominal hours as required</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">BS in Engineering or technical equivalent from an accredited institution; at least 10 years of experience and/or an advanced degree.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Depending on the candidate&rsquo;s experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>This position may involve extended periods of sitting or standing.
