Description
Agilix Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician. This role is focused on delivering Rockwell and Agilix services to customers – specifically related to installed assets, storeroom assets, low voltage drives, troubleshooting, and projects within the given Area of Primary Responsibility (APR). At the direction of and in coordination with the Services team, mainly the Field Service Specialist, this role will be able to execute a service in a timely manner. This role will also involve the ability to demonstrate a core competency around Rockwell Automation products, software, and services.
This role will report to the Director of Services & Solutions.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and Perform Rockwell Install Base Evaluations (IBEs), Drive Startups (DSU), and other ancillary Authorized Service Provider (ASP) services as needed. Coordinate and perform Agilix Services not exclusive or limited too: Thermography audits, Motor-Circuit Analysis, and standard troubleshooting (Third-party items are to be discussed before engagement). Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate as a team with Rockwell Services Resources and Sales resources within Agilix and Rockwell organizations. Work closely with the Field Service Specialist. Ability to build positive relationships with customers. Ability to deliver concise reports, proposals, and recommendations to customers to meet needs and goals.
Qualifications
2-5 years field or plant experience. 1+ years of experience of working with Industrial Control Systems including PLC, HMI/SCADA, Motor control, and software (Rockwell or comparable) in a plant environment. Experience with safe work practices in an industrial environment including personal protective equipment (PPE). Basic understanding and navigation of technology around Windows, IPAD or Surface, laptops, etc.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Prolonged periods of walking or standing while onsite at a customer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Travel within Area of Primary Responsibility (APR) is 50%-75%. Overnight stay is NOT expected.
