Job Title : Chalet Host
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a key member of our luxury hospitality team in Niseko, you will deliver exceptional, personalized guest experiences throughout every stage of their stay.
You will act as a trusted point of contact, ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless, comfortable, and truly memorable visit.
JOB OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive support throughout their stay
Inspect and maintain chalets to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
Drive guests, assist with luggage, and offer local insights around the Niseko area
Stay informed on ski conditions, dining options, and resort events to assist guests effectively
Manage bookings, itineraries, and special requests with attention to detail
Troubleshoot and resolve in-room equipment or facility issues promptly
Handle guest feedback professionally to enhance overall satisfaction
Arrange exclusive experiences such as private ski lessons, spa treatments, and bespoke activities
Deliver thoughtful, tailored service that exceeds guest expectations
Build genuine relationships with guests by remembering preferences and special details
Training and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
REQUIREMENTS

Experience
Ability to perform guest-facing or service-related duties
Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
Education and Qualification
Valid working visa in Japan
Valid Driver’s License (Japanese, international, or foreign driver’s license with an official Japanese Translation)
Skills
Effective communication skills with guests and team members
Ability to manage multiple tasks and determine priorities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to take initiative and address issues proactively
Language Skills
Business Level or above in English
Competencies
Strong sense of responsibility toward guest satisfaction
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Organized work style with effective time management
Friendly, polite, and professional attitude toward guests and colleagues

Contract renewal: Applicable

Company’s business demands.
Duty, Work Location & Scope of Changes
Duty: may be changed as determined by the company
Initial Work Location: one of the company’s properties in Niseko Area, Hokkaido
Scope of changes: company properties in Niseko Area, Rusutsu or Furano.
Training may be conducted at other location.
Employees may be required to work at different properties based on operational needs.
The initial assignment will be determined by the company.
Commuting & Workplace policy
Private Vehicle Commuting: Not permitted
Measures to prevent passive smoking: indoor smoking prohibited
Working hours, Days off & Overtime
Working hours / Shift schedule: Up to 8 hours between 06:00 to 22:00
Days off: two days off per week (based on shift schedule)

36-Article Agreement (overtime): Applicable (Due to seasonal factors and a high concentration of orders from general customers, periods of increased workload are expected)
