font-weight: bold\">Job Summary:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">The primary responsibility of the QMHP is to provide family oriented, individual and/or group rehabilitative mental health services, skills training and development, medication training, parenting skills training, and intensive case management services to clients of the agency per state specified standards and requirements.  QMHP Case Managers provide interventions in the community, home, school, and office to clients assigned to their caseload.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ol></ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide curriculum based rehabilitative services to families, individuals and groups.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain all case records (notes, treatment plans, and uniform assessments) in accordance with CFGC standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Meet the following monthly benchmarks:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide services at least two times per month to each assigned client.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide a minimum of 100 direct client contact hours each month.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide a minimum of 80% of client services in the community setting each month (80+ hours). </span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Document with the understanding that</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">all clinical notations are considered legal documents and can be used in the court of law.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">all documentation should be true, accurate, and never falsified in any manner.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Present all assigned cases for review by supervisor.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Participate in staff meetings, trainings, professional development, and other in-office activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain required professional certifications and licensure.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide own transportation and have a working cell phone.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain a valid driver license and auto liability insurance (current copies must be on file with the agency at all times).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Cover office-based QMHP services temporarily upon request of supervisor.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Adhere to all current city, state and federal laws, rules, regulations, and codes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Safeguard confidential healthcare information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability &amp; Accountability Act (HIPAA).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Perform all duties professionally and ethically.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Adhere to the policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Professionally represent CFGC in the community and online.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Contact your supervisor immediately if you:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">suspect a consumer has been a victim of abuse or neglect.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">receive a subpoena, have been called to testify, or participate in legal proceedings.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Duties and Responsibilities:</span></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ensure community awareness of all services offered within the agency.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Serve on task forces when requested.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide consultation to other agencies contracted with CFGC.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Education and Work Experience Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge</span>: General understanding of adult and child mental health disorders, treatment of disorders, and             documentation of treatment provided.  Knowledge of confidentiality and ethical guidelines for practice.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\"> Education:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in rehab counseling, psychology, social work, or related field as specified in the Texas Administrative Code Rule §353.1415 for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-CS)<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Trained in working with individuals with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, Children with Severe Emotional Disturbances, and delivery of services based on curriculum</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Training in child and/or adult counseling, and family dynamics preferred</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
