Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and commercially astute Paid Social Specialist to lead and optimize paid advertising across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, Snapchat and emerging social platforms. This role is central to international student recruitment strategy, driving high-quality lead generation across multiple higher education brands and global markets.
You will collaborate closely with the Marketing team to plan, execute, and scale campaigns that effectively engage prospective students in key regions, including India, the EU, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asian.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Execution
Plan, build, and manage end-to-end paid social campaigns across Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Snapchat for multiple brands simultaneously.
Set up and manage Lead Gen Forms, conversion campaigns, and retargeting funnels aligned to student enrolment objectives.
Implement geo-targeted, audience-segmented campaigns across priority target markets.
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly ad budgets with a focus on CPL (cost per lead) targets and funnel conversion rates.
Conduct A/B tests on creatives, copy, audiences, and landing pages to continuously improve performance.
Proficient in MS Excel for handling daily operations and monthly reporting.
Strategy & Planning
Build audience personas and segmentation strategies for HNI families, working professionals, and school leavers depending on the brand and programme.
Research and recommend CPL benchmarks, platform mix, and budget allocation by market and programme type.
Stay ahead of platform algorithm updates, ad format innovations, and education sector trends to inform strategy.
Analytics & Reporting
Implement and manage conversion tracking across multiple platforms using their respective pixels.
Build and maintain performance (in excel) to track CPL, CTR, ROAS, and lead quality metrics.
Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights and optimization recommendations.
Analyse funnel drop-off points and work with landing page and CRM teams to improve lead quality and application rates.
Requirements
Essential
5-7 years of hands-on paid social advertising experience, with a strong command of Meta, Linkedin and Snapchat Ads Manager.
Proven experience managing lead generation campaigns — ideally in education, ed-tech, or a similar high-consideration B2C environment.
Solid understanding of audience targeting, lookalike audiences, retargeting, and exclusion strategies.
Experience with conversion tracking setup (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, GTM).
Ability to manage multiple ad accounts and campaigns across brands simultaneously.
Data-literate: comfortable with performance data, CPL analysis, and building reports.
Strong written English with an understanding of ad copywriting best practices.
Desirable
Experience with international student recruitment or higher education marketing.
Familiarity with multi-market campaigns targeting India, EU, Africa and/or Middle East audiences.
Knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar is plus.
Basic understanding of landing page optimisation and CRO principles.
Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations relevant to EU markets is plus.
