Persuasive and analytical skills are preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.&nbsp;</li><li>Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to work \"on their feet\" in the production area about 80% of the shift.</li><li>Must be able to work in environments below 40 degrees and in areas more than 60 degrees.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>TRAINING:</strong></p><ul><li>Approximately six weeks are spent in a hands-on training environment before being assigned to a department.</li><li>Team Leaders attend&nbsp;a virtual Inspired Hires orientation. This will include presentations by different divisions to increase product knowledge, company knowledge, and leadership skills.</li><li>6-month operational training program while on the job.</li><li>This team leader will start on 1<sup>st</sup> shift for training; but will be moved to 2<sup>nd</sup> after training is completed.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>LOCATION AND SHIFT:</strong></p><ul><li>Hormel's Flagship Plant in Austin, MN&nbsp;</li><li>Most Team Leaders&nbsp;begin their careers on 2nd or 3rd shift.</li><li>Extended hours may be needed-including weekends.</li><li>Willingness to work alternative shifts.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
