    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">With locations in Pittsburgh, McKees Rocks, and Kutztown, McConway and Torley and Standard Forged, have been in continuous operations since 1869, the same year the first US transcontinental railroad was completed. &nbsp;McConway has been able to meet the needs of our customers with a steady, dependable and economical supply of high-quality coupler products. &nbsp;As the original designers of the first standard automatic coupler, continued innovation and craftsmanship have led to a product line that includes every ARR approved coupler as well as custom coupler solutions, which are all proudly cast in the US.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>McConway &amp; Torley</strong> is looking for a <strong>Heat Treat Operator</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Pittsburgh, PA</p><p><strong>Shift:&nbsp;</strong>Must be able to work any shift (will be steady once you start)</p><p><strong>What you&rsquo;ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Verify melt numbers on parts, traveler and test bars are consistent and accurate</li><li>Solution Heat Treat &ndash; perform start-up, operation, shut down, and quench</li><li>Age Ovens &ndash; perform start-up, operation and shut down</li><li>Operate gantry crane</li><li>Drive a fork truck</li><li>Operate a small grinder&nbsp;</li><li>Perform hardness testing</li><li>Light computer work</li><li>Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you&rsquo;ll need:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>1 or more years of previous experience is preferred</li><li>High school diploma</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.</li><li>This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays</li><li>Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds</li></ul><p><strong>Safety Activities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Be aware of and observe all safety practices.
