          "text": "<p>The general laborer position is responsible for performing physical and manual labor-related tasks such as facility maintenance, cleaning and manually sorting material in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires the ability to work in outdoor conditions during all seasons and in various types of weather.&#xa0; The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work overtime and various shifts, which may include weekends.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):</strong></p><ul><li>Load, unload, or adjust materials or products on conveyors by hand</li><li>Sort through soil and rocks to remove, rocks, plastics, metals, trash and other materials</li><li>Sort materials, such as metals, glass, wood, paper, plastic or trash, into appropriate containers for recycling</li><li>Process materials in compliance with applicable safety or environmental regulations</li><li>Monitor material flow or instruments to ensure optimal processing conditions</li><li>Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting machines, conveyors, or other processing equipment or doing other preventive maintenance actions</li><li>Remove clogs, defects, or impurities from machines, conveyors, or other processing equipment using lifts, hoists, or open gates</li><li>Learn and follow safety regulations</li><li>Notify supervisors of problems encountered with material or equipment</li><li>Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time</li><li>Apply and remove the area specific locks and tags as identified on the equipment specific lock out procedure</li><li>Direct traffic movement or warn of hazards, using signs, flags, lanterns, and hand signals</li><li>Help production workers by cleaning work areas and equipment</li></ul>",
