Job Title: EA (Education Assistant) Instructor
Responsibilities
Theory Instruction (In-Person or Online)
Deliver lectures aligned with course objectives and program learning outcomes.
Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and materials that engage diverse learners.
Explain course outlines, expectations, and assessment criteria at the start of each course.
Provide regular feedback on student progress and support student learning needs.
Assess assignments and exams and submit grades within required timelines.
Participate in curriculum development, updates, and instructional planning.
General Responsibilities (All Instructors)
Discuss students’ progress and address academic concerns as needed.
Submit all required records and documentation, including attendance and grades, in a timely manner and in accordance with institutional policies and established processes. Accurately track and report student attendance and grades through the system as required .
Attend faculty meetings and participate in program and college initiatives.
Participate in faculty performance reviews, if required .
Arrange make-up sessions for hours missed due to illness or other absences.
Comply with all college pol icies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Program manage r, College Dean, or President.
Education and Experience Required:
A certificate, diploma, or degree in an Education/ Education Assistant or a field directly related to the subject area being taught.
A minimum of two years of related work experience in the subject area.
In the absence of formal education, a minimum of ten years of relevant work experience may be considered.
Location: WCC Surrey Central Campus
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: September 30, 2026
