They are used in consumer goods in paper and packaging, food and pharmaceuticals, household and personal care, pet care, automotives, and many more, as well as in industrial settings like steelmaking, metalcasting, construction, infrastructure, and wastewater remediation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol MTX, headquartered in New York City, and have over 150 locations worldwide, with ~4,000 employees in 34 countries and 12 R&D centers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>We put people at the center of everything we do -- working safely, communicating openly, and managing our resources and businesses responsibly.</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive pay, commensurate with experience</li>\n <li>Health/Dental/Vision plans</li>\n <li>401k company match</li>\n <li>Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Short Term Disability & Long-Term Disability</li>\n <li>Educational Assistance</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Plan</li>\n</ul> \n<p><strong>Position: </strong>Load Coordinator</p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>USA | Cartersville, Georgia</p>\n<p><strong>This is considered a safety sensitive position therefore will be subject to random drug testing as required.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Primary Duties & Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the input and distribution of freight to power units in the Regional and Pneumatic Division in the Cartersville terminal</li>\n <li>Responsible for the customer contact and interaction for the Regional and Pneumatic Division in the Cartersville terminal with a focus on the customer</li>\n <li>Ensures that both divisions comply with all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations including but not limited to, hours of service regulations, load weight restrictions, and other applicable regulatory requirements</li>\n <li>Understand and manage the satellite system being used in all of the power units </li>\n <li>Responsible for the economic performance for both divisions</li>\n <li>Responsible for managing the deadhead percentage for both divisions</li>\n <li>Coordinate with driver managers to ensure all power units and trailers are inspected in a timely manner every 90 days as a minimum</li>\n <li>Coordinates with the logistics division regarding loads that would be tendered from them to the carriers divisions </li>\n <li>Ensures all customer transportation requirements are met by the two divisions</li>\n <li>Tracks and ensures that On Time objectives are met</li>\n <li>Maintains a high degree of integrity at all times and in all circumstances</li>\n <li>Performs all duties in a professional manner, promoting the image, growth, profitability, and success of the company </li>\n <li>Maintains a high degree of confidentiality with issues related to drivers (private and personal matters), rates, customers, and other proprietary items</li>\n <li>Deploys Operational Excellence approach to all aspects of the operation, including, but not limited to, suggestions, Gemba walks, 5S, lean vents, coaching, standard work, visual management, Kanban, and Voice of the Customer</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications/Requirements</strong></p>\n<p><em>The requirements listed in the sections that follow are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to perform the duties of this job.
