    "description": "<h2>Job Details</h2>\n<p>MRI | Beavercreek | Full-time | First Shift </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities & Requirements</h2>The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows. They interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require on-call availability and holiday coverage. Performs other duties as assigned. \n<strong>Minimum Education</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI education program</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Licenses</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (Preferred) OR</li>\n <li>ARRT in one of these Radiography (R)/Nuclear Medicine (N)/Radiation Therapy (T)/ Sonography (S) required and get ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire date</li>\n <li>Current BLS required</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Required Skills</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient in operating an MRI scanner and adjusting imaging parameters</li>\n <li>Well-versed and compliant in MRI safety and understands research workflow for MRI safety requirements</li>\n <li>Patient positioning & comfort while ensuring patient safety</li>\n <li>Emergency response</li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Critical thinking and problem-solving</li>\n <li>Time management</li>\n <li>Empathy and patient care</li>\n <li>The ability to work independently and work well with team members.</li>\n <li>Capable of performing timely, quality MRI exams</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Essential Functions</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform MRI Examinations</li>\n <li>Ensure Patient Safety and Comfort</li>\n <li>Administration of Contrast Media</li>\n <li>Maintain MRI Equipment and Safety Standards</li>\n <li>Collaboration with multi-disciplinary health care team</li>\n <li>Document and Manage Patient Information</li>\n <li>Research of Implantable Devices for MRI Compatibility</li>\n <li>Adhere to Compliance and Regulatory Standards</li>\n <li>Assist with Workflow and Operational Efficiency</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>One year of MRI experience </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
