Expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving are essential. Must be able to collaborate within cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions and develop test hardware per technical specification. Responsible for analyzing test requirements, defining system architectures, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems into the manufacturing process. </p><p></p><p><b>Role Responsibilities:  </b></p><ul><li>Coordinate with MFG Test Engineering and management to understand sub system requirements. Interfaces with other test engineers and BU customers to coordinate the deployment of new test fixtures.  Drives new test fixture designs and implement as necessary.  Documents and tracks deployment issues to closure and initiates appropriate engineering change request as required.  Drives applicable manufacturing engineering deliverables. </li><li>Conduct detailed engineering analysis of sub systems using vast knowledge of design concepts and functional requirements in field of technical expertise and broaden into other disciplines.   </li><li>Assist in creating concepts for architectural design approaches.  Evaluate architectures to provide recommendation for best system solution approach </li><li>Build and qualify prototypes of new designs, or procure entire subsystems from outsourced suppliers and test for compliance with detailed specifications </li><li>Identify and troubleshoot a variety of difficult engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability. </li><li>Perform and coordinate tests against internal and industry-accepted reliability specifications.
