    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As a Material Handler I, you’ll be responsible for maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in the warehouse and recording locations of inventory. Material Handler I is also responsible for unloading inbound and loading outbound loads while also confirming accuracy. The Material Handler I is expected to be proactive and can perform their work at a high level with minimum supervision.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for following all safety activity in compliance with Rain Bird Safety Standards and Programs</li>\n <li>Locate, verify, and supply production with requested materials needed for shift</li>\n <li>Receive, verify, and document incoming raw material for quantity and ID accuracy</li>\n <li>Responsible for racking raw materials into warehouse locations and performing all transfers into the system</li>\n <li>Responsible for staging and shipping finished goods pallets to the Steele DC</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse</li>\n <li>Perform inventory counts for Cycle Count Program</li>\n <li>Perform warehouse rack audits on bi-weekly basis</li>\n <li>Provide important communication and updates through email</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent </li>\n <li>Forklift (stand-up/sit-down) and power carts certification</li>\n <li>Has worked a minimum of 10 months in a warehouse setting in the past two years</li>\n <li>Proficient in software programs such as Word and Excel</li>\n <li>Proven track record with attendance and reliable transportation</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines</li>\n <li>Working in a distribution center and/or warehouse</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in Barcode scanner system use and implementation</li>\n <li>Oracle based ERP system</li>\n <li>Experience in warehousing and/or material planning operations</li>\n <li>Knowledge of inventory management systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>OTHER INFORMATION:  </strong></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking and have a can – do attitude.
