We look forward to reviewing your application!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<p>The General Laborer supports heavy civil and highway construction operations by performing a wide range of physical tasks on active job sites. This position requires the ability to work safely in high-traffic environments and under varying conditions. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performing erosion control and site stabilization activities</li>\n <li>Shoveling, moving, and placing construction materials</li>\n <li>Assisting pipe crews, grading crews, and other roadway construction operations</li>\n <li>Installing, maintaining, and repairing traffic control devices</li>\n <li>Working in and around live traffic and heavy equipment</li>\n <li>Cleans and prepares construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards. </li>\n <li>Loads or unloads building materials to be used in construction. </li>\n <li>Builds or takes part bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures. </li>\n <li>Digs trenches, backfills holes, or compacts earth to prepare construction. </li>\n <li>Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.</li>\n <li>Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. </li>\n <li>Prior heavy civil, highway, or construction experience preferred but not required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why work for us</h2>\n<p>Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program</li>\n <li>Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP</li>\n <li>Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical</li>\n <li>Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.</p>\n<h2>Salary Min</h2>USD $16.00/Hr.\n<h2>Salary Max</h2>USD $20.00/Hr.",
