Job summary Our guest service associates are the “front line” of our hotel team, interacting the most with guests and often having the greatest impact on the overall guest experience.  As a member of the guest services team, your work at the front desk is critical to ensuring that our guests have a fantastic stay from arrival to departure.  As night auditor, you will often be the only employee on staff, so the ability to handle problems and think critically is essential to success. Compensation & Benefits Performance reviews (with raise eligibility) at 3 months, 6 months, then every 6 months. Quarterly bonus plan with revenue sharing and team performance incentives. Health, vision and dental insurance (full-time associates). Paid vacation (full-time associates). 24/7 telemedicine for employee and up to 7 family members (no cost to employees). $500 referral bonus for referring new employees. 401(k) with 3% employer contribution (no employee match required). Up to $500 per year in tuition assistance. Hotel discounts for employee, family and friends through brand discount programs. Opportunities for promotions into leadership roles. Job responsibilities Manage traditional hotel front desk responsibilities including answering phones, guest check-in and check-out, billing and payment collection, and fulfilling guest requests. Clean public and back office spaces including lobby, restrooms, windows, etc. Assist with housekeeping, laundry and food and beverage operations as needed. Laundry is considered to be a normal night auditor responsibility on our team. Communicate and collaborate with other hotel departments including housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a seamless guest experience. Address and resolve guest issues and complaints. Handle other responsibilities as needed/directed by hotel management. Qualifications A positive attitude and a commitment to working as a team to deliver excellent service. Flexible schedule – weekdays, weekends, and holidays (weekend/holiday availability required). Passionate about delivering excellent guest service in every guest interaction. Comfortable working as the only front desk agent on shift. Strong computer skills, organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities at once. Excellent communication skills (important both for guests and internal collaboration). Able to handle stressful situations and solve problems in a calm, professional manner. Physically able to perform all responsibilities including but not limited to bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Able to successfully pass a drug test and background check.
