Tasks may include the accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments, observational and clinical documentation, assisting in emergency calls, and updating Supervisors of changes.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Job Duties:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Assists in the supervision and direct care of residents and nursing personnel.</li><li>Administers direct care as assigned.</li><li>Gives and receives reports.  </li><li>Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents’ condition. </li><li>Assists in developing comprehensive care plans</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Active, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut is required.</li><li>Current CPR and IV certifications are required.</li><li>Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing is required.</li></ul><p> </p><p><i>* Depends on employment classification</i></p><p><i><strong>Please Note:</strong> Consideration for an interview requires a resume be submitted with this application.</i></p><p><i>All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
