    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the standards of cleanliness in assigned units are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service. The Room Attendant must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials and/or the clean-up of blood, infectious materials, or body fluids containing blood in accordance with the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standards. They will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Room Attendant will always conduct themselves in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: <em>Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. </em>He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains cleanliness of resort property. Cleans all accommodations within Caldera Springs, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas</li>\n <li>Assists with cleanliness of public facilities including Lake House and Forest House as needed </li>\n <li>Cleans and sanitizes all designated areas to Sunriver Resort standards</li>\n <li>Perform deep cleans of properties </li>\n <li>Exterior sweeping and cleaning of outdoor furnishings </li>\n <li>Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor</li>\n <li>Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment</li>\n <li>Changes soiled linens on beds and makes beds following the resort protocol </li>\n <li>Keeps housekeeping caddy clean, stocked and orderly always</li>\n <li>Dusts and polish furniture and equipment </li>\n <li>Empties wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal</li>\n <li>Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, guest amenities, linens, and bathroom linens</li>\n <li>Dusts window blinds</li>\n <li>Follows through on lost and found procedures. No articles shall be removed from occupied rooms. Absolute respect for guest property should always be exercised.</li>\n <li>Washes windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as needed </li>\n <li>Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.</li>\n <li>Clean wash basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs, and showers daily</li>\n <li>Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken windowpanes, missing nuts or screws, beds needing repair, etc.)</li>\n <li>Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule, maintains accurate time records and follows proper standards for issuance of rooms</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Prior housekeeping/custodial experience preferred</li>\n <li>Prior hospitality experience preferred</li>\n <li>At least one year customer service experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>ROOM ATTENDANT JOB REQUIRMENTS:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment </li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>ROOM ATTENDANT WORKING CONDITIONS:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to stand on feet throughout the day, with intermittent periods of walking and stair climbing;</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 25 pounds occasionally and rarely 50 pounds (with assistance).</li>\n <li>Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally ; infrequently climb a ladder</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a warm or cold environment, including walking outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat), with exposure to chemicals and dust. </li>\n <li>Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements and simple grasping constantly; pushing & pulling, squeezing and overhead reaching frequently.</li>\n</ul>",
