They play a crucial role in ensuring that saws run efficiently, meet safety standards, and contribute to the smooth functioning of a sawmill.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead a team of saw filers and guidance on proper saw maintenance, repair techniques, and safety protocols.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sharpening saws by hand or using specialized machines, adjusting teeth for accurate cuts, and repairing broken saw blades through welding or brazing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Testing saws to ensure proper functionality and safety, replacing dull or damaged blades, and maintaining overall saw quality.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensuring all saw-filing equipment is well-maintained, calibrated, and safe for use.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Providing recommendations for saw maintenance, repair, and upgrades.
