Responsibilities include evaluating patients, obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and coordinating diagnostic studies such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, and developing treatment plans under physician supervision. The PA manages follow-up visits, provides patient education, assists with preoperative and postoperative care, and coordinates surgical clearances and other necessary preparations. By streamlining patient evaluations and ensuring all required information is available prior to surgical consultations, the PA improves patient flow, enhances efficiency, and supports high-quality orthopedic care.</p>\n<h2>What We're Looking For</h2>\n<h3>Education</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program required.</li>\n <li>Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant educational program.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Licensure & Certification</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Current Physician Assistant license in the state of NJ required.</li>\n <li>Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA-C) required.</li>\n <li>Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain) preferred or required, depending on prescribing responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications: When determining the compensation, several factors may be considered including, years of relevant experience, credentials, union contracts, education, and internal equity.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance</li>\n <li>401K, Retirement savings plan </li>\n <li>Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement</li>\n <li>Opportunities for professional growth, development, and continuing education</li>\n <li>Employee wellness programs and resources</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Influenza Vaccinations are a requirement for employment.
