A non-profit 501(c)(3), Dorcas International offers adult education, language learning, job training, employment services, citizenship and immigration services, clothing and household needs, and more.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education Supervisor - AM</span> provides leadership and operational support for the morning Education program. This position oversees Adult Education and ESL instructors and ensures the delivery of high-quality instruction that supports student learning outcomes and program performance goals.</p>\n<p>The Supervisor supports instructors through coaching, classroom observation, and professional development while ensuring program compliance with Adult Education standards and reporting requirements. The Supervisor also helps maintain a supportive learning environment for adult learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The candidate should have the following: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in education, TESOL, adult education, or related field</li>\n<li>2-3 years of supervisory or instructional leadership experience in Adult Education or ESL programs preferred. Strong knowledge of Adult Education instructional practices.</li>\n<li>Experience working with immigrant, refugee, or multilingual adult learners strongly preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability to provide instructional for adult learners in blended, online, and classroom-based modalities.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and support instructors.</li>\n<li>Commitment to student-centered instruction and culturally responsive teaching practices.</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.</li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced program environment.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms used in adult education programs.</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively across program areas.</li>\n<li>Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability when managing changing program needs.</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to program sites when needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Candidate will be responsible for:</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing onsite supervision and acting as a resource to morning Adult Education and ESL instructors with working hours projected to be Monday – Thursday, 8 AM – 1 PM.</li>\n<li>Ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality instruction aligned with adult education standards and program learning outcomes.</li>\n<li>Coordinating substitute coverage or serve as a substitute instructor when needed.</li>\n<li>Conducting classroom observations and provide constructive written and verbal feedback to support instructor professional growth.</li>\n<li>Facilitating Teacher Shares and professional development sessions to strengthen instructional practices.</li>\n<li>Reviewing instructor documentation to ensure materials are current and complete, i.e. syllabi, lesson plans, innovative practices, and student stories.</li>\n<li>Monitoring student attendance tracking and reporting to ensure compliance with grant and program requirements.</li>\n<li>Preparing and reviewing administrative reports related to payroll, grants, and professional development.</li>\n<li>Supporting instructors in addressing student concerns and resolving classroom challenges, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for all.</li>\n<li>Participating in Leader on Duty rotation to assist with emergency response and building operations.</li>\n<li>Performing additional duties as requested.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why should you apply? </span>  </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shared values of respect, agility, integrity and inclusivity. </li>\n<li>Part time benefits include paid vacation, sick days, and personal leave in addition to 13 paid holidays based on days/hours scheduled. </li>\n<li>Pay rate $30-$32/hour, commensurate with experience (20 hours/week)<br></li>\n</ul>",
