You will be providing impeccable care to clients by assisting in scheduled activities as well as overall care management.  You will treat your clients like family, going above and beyond to enhance their quality of life.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Delivering exceptional care to the dedicated client in their home</li>\n <li>Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans </li>\n <li>Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)</li>\n <li>Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional support</li>\n <li>Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation</li>\n <li>Keep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind at all times</li>\n <li>Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed</li>\n <li>Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability or behavior</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of one year of profesional caregiving experience</li>\n <li>Weekend availability </li>\n <li>Total Care experience a plus</li>\n <li>Dementia experience a plus </li>\n <li>Valid Driver's license and vehicle insurance</li>\n <li>Experience working in a community setting </li>\n <li>CNA school, active or former CNA is a plus!</li>\n <li>Licensure as a CNA, HHA, PCA, HCA, CHHA is a plus!</li>\n <li>Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from work</li>\n <li>Successful completion of all state requirements and required state and Company training</li>\n <li>Proof of eligibility to work in the United States</li>\n <li>Pass a background check</li>\n <li>Pass an Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) check, as defined by Texas law</li>\n <li>Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions, and document timely and accurately in systems</li>\n <li>Empathy for the needs of the client</li>\n <li>Treats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect, and presents a positive public image</li>\n <li>Maintains confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Non-Required Preferred Skills, Education and Certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>CPR and First Aid Certification</li>\n <li>COVID-19 Vaccination</li>\n <li>Have a smartphone</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Are All About:</strong></p>\n<p>At TheKey, we pride ourselves on hiring quality professionals who feel just as passionate as we do about helping transform the lives of aging adults by providing the utmost white glove experience for our clients to promote a healthy mind, body and spirit.
