    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>JOB TITLE:</strong> <u>&nbsp; &nbsp;</u><u>Batchmaker &ndash; Kettle House&nbsp;</u></p><p><strong>DEPARTMENT: &nbsp;</strong><u>Chemical Department<strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</u>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><h1>&nbsp;BASIC FUNCTIONS</h1><p>1. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Perform supply operation including preparation and setup of raw materials and equipment.</p><p>&nbsp;2. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Operation of kettles, tanks and supporting equipment used in the production of kettle soap products at the specified quantity and quality levels.</p><p>&nbsp;3. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Maintain product quality standards by observation, sampling and operating equipment necessary to monitor &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;product quality. &nbsp;Take any necessary corrective action.</p><p>&nbsp;4. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Maintain the necessary production accounting records and reports to include batch card, process</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;control, quality.</p><p>&nbsp;5. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Properly package, count and document all supplies to be returned to inventory or scrapped.</p><p>&nbsp;6. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Comply with procedures, methods, and standards in adherence with Good Manufacturing Procedures</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; (GMP).</p><p>&nbsp;Duties relevant to the basic function.</p><p>&nbsp;Additional tasks as directed.</p><p>&nbsp; BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><em>A. &nbsp;<u>BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS</u></em></strong></p><ol><li>Characteristics of soap bases and raw materials, including moisture levels, additives, and techniques for incorporating these additives into the final product.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;2. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Operating details of the production processing equipment.</p><p>3. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Operating details of the product handling equipment.</p><p>&nbsp;4. &nbsp; &nbsp; General knowledge of Kettle House equipment, packaging equipment, and finished product handling equipment.</p><p>&nbsp;Understanding of quality parameters as they relate to the finished product.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 6. &nbsp; &nbsp; Cooperate closely with other operators and managers.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 7. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Feedback is essential to good performance.&nbsp; Two-way communication is encouraged between the Manager and the Operator on a continuing basis.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 8. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain an acceptable level of orderliness and cleanliness in areas of assigned work.</p><p>&nbsp;9. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Understanding of and adherence to machine safety.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><em>B</em></strong><em>.</em><em>&nbsp;<strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></em></p><p><u>Experience Requirements:</u>&nbsp; &nbsp;Previous experience in a processing environment with exposure to machinery.</p><p>&nbsp;<u>Education and License Requirements:</u>&nbsp; &nbsp;High school education with a diploma or the ability to demonstrate knowledge consistent with that level of education.</p><p>&nbsp;<u>Physical Working Conditions (Physical Capacities):</u> Capable of normal standing activities and moderate to potentially heavy lifting; Ability to lift 50 lbs.
