This is your chance to join our team - help us to understand today&rsquo;s needs and develop plans to improve the movement of people and goods!</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Water/Wastewater Process Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the evaluation, planning, design, and construction administration of municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities &amp; processes, distribution and collection systems, chemical storage &amp; feed systems, and process mechanical, piping and pumping systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in the planning, design, and analysis of water and wastewater treatment facility infrastructure and associated process mechanical systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates for pumping stations, treatment facilities, and related infrastructure</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform hydraulic analyses, equipment selection, and system sizing</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support project development activities including permitting and coordination with regulatory agencies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide construction administration services, including shop drawing review, field observations, and coordination with contractors</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5&ndash;10 years of relevant experience in evaluating and designing process piping and process mechanical systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fluid mechanics, and treatment processes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit or other 3D modeling software is a plus</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Master&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity and experience with water and wastewater treatment facility processes and design</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the commonwealth of Virginia</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">WRA recognizes that employees play an important role in its success.
