Our collaborative studio model emphasizes mentorship, technical excellence, and long-term client partnerships across North America.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">POSITION OVERVIEW</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Paradigm Design is seeking a Healthcare Practice Leader | Architect to develop, lead, and scale the firm’s healthcare sector across medical office buildings, specialty clinics, outpatient facilities, dental, behavioral health, and public health environments. This is a senior-level, revenue-accountable leadership role responsible for healthcare market growth, client development, sector strategy, and project excellence. Success in this role is measured by sustainable revenue growth, sector profitability, client retention, and backlog stability. The Healthcare Practice Leader is responsible for establishing Paradigm Design as a trusted partner within the healthcare sector and building a scalable client base that generates recurring project opportunities. This position reports through the Executive Leadership Team and presents quarterly healthcare performance metrics to firm shareholders. This role carries operational leadership authority within the healthcare sector; governance and ownership rights are not included at hire.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">CORE RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Healthcare Market Development</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the healthcare sector</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Originate and secure new healthcare clients and project opportunities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Build and maintain a qualified and active pipeline</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Lead healthcare pursuits, interviews, and proposal strategy</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Expand repeat client relationships and strategic partnerships</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Maintain defined backlog coverage targets within the healthcare sector</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Revenue &amp; Performance Accountability</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Responsible for achieving defined annual healthcare revenue targets</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Monitor sector profitability, margin performance, and utilization</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Track win rates and pursuit effectiveness</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Present quarterly performance updates to shareholders</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Operational Leadership</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Lead staffing strategy for healthcare projects in partnership with studio leadership</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Establish healthcare design standards and best practices</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Mentor project managers and technical staff within the sector</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Collaborate with Civil, Engineering, and Interior Design teams to deliver integrated healthcare solutions</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· As the healthcare sector grows, help identify staffing needs and participate in recruiting efforts to build a dedicated healthcare project team</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Final hiring, compensation, and governance decisions remain with firm shareholders.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Project &amp; Technical Leadership</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Oversee healthcare projects from concept through construction</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Ensure compliance with FGI, ADA, state, and federal regulatory standards</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Maintain high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Serve as executive-level client contact on strategic healthcare projects</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Licensed Architect NOT required, but strongly preferred</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· 12+ years of healthcare design experience</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Demonstrated success in healthcare client development and revenue generation</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Proven ability to lead pursuits and secure work</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare planning, and regulatory compliance</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Established healthcare industry relationships preferred</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Experience managing healthcare project teams and mentoring staff</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">LEADERSHIP ADVANCEMENT PATH</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This role is designed as a performance-based pathway toward Associate Principal consideration within 12–18 months, contingent upon:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Achievement of defined healthcare revenue targets</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Sustained margin performance</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Demonstrated leadership effectiveness</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Positive cultural integration and firm impact</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Initial success in the role will focus on establishing strong client relationships, securing early healthcare project opportunities, and building a qualified pipeline that supports sustainable sector growth.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Associate Principal designation includes expanded operational leadership influence and eligibility for enhanced performance-based compensation.
