    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Support others in the development of 2D technical drawings and 3D models in a custom curtainwall company. The CAD Technician (CT) is responsible for all aspects of the design process.&nbsp;The CT will complete and manipulate base curtainwall system designs using CAD to complete project submittal documents and develop fabrication drawings and models from these submittal documents.<br><br><strong>Role and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Work with Technical Project Manager and Engineers to create submittal details, plans, and elevations.</li><li>Create layout and tag drawings for installation.</li><li>Create fabrication drawings and models.</li><li>Generate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and material estimates.</li><li>Read and interpret project Architectural and Structural drawings.</li><li>Read and interpret project specifications.</li><li>Provide support to factory and field personnel as needed.</li><li>Follow best practice drafting and modeling standards.</li><li>Use education and company provided training to further develop required skills.</li><li>Additional items as needed by design department.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD required</li><li>Working knowledge of 3D modeling software (Inventor/SolidWorks) required</li><li>Strong general computer skills including working knowledge of email, MS Office, and similar software</li><li>Strong spatial aptitude</li><li>Ability to travel as required</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Under supervision, performs technical work with CAD operation in various 2D and 3D capacities</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to travel as required.</li><li>Ability to sit, work, collaborate on a computer as needed for project work.</li><li>Ability to stand for periods of time as needed for project work.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Education Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Associates degree in AEC industry or currently enrolled in 2-year degree in AEC industry</li><li>0-2 years related experience required.</li></ul><p><em><strong>New Hudson Facades is an Equal Opportunity employer.&nbsp;</strong>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment&nbsp;without&nbsp;regard&nbsp;to&nbsp;race,&nbsp;color,&nbsp;religion,&nbsp;sex&nbsp;including&nbsp;sexual orientation&nbsp;and&nbsp;gender identity,&nbsp;national&nbsp;origin, disability, protected Veteran Status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law</em>.</p></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
