This new senior community is in a beautiful and serene location atop the bluffs of Dubuque, Iowa, overlooking the Mississippi River.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This community offers the following care options: Residential Care Facility (RCF), Residential Care Facility (RCF) with Memory Care, Long Term Care/ Care Center</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Address: 1040 Carmel Dr, Dubuque, IA 52003</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Near by towns include: Bellevue, Cascade, Peosta, Maquoketa, Platteville, WI, and Galena, IL.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The primary purpose of the Volunteer Director position is to effectively plan, implement, organize and coordinate the campus volunteer program to enhance the  care and services for residents.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>• Effectively plan, implement, organize and coordinate the volunteer program to enhance the care and services for residents. • Receive, review and make selections of appropriate volunteers for each request in a timely manner. • Continually assess volunteer program processes and implement changes to facilitate growth and improvement. Communicate and interpret the volunteer program to prospective clients, families, employees and community groups. • Maintain an ongoing database of volunteer needs. • Maintain accurate computerized records, including volunteer information and statistics.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience and interest in working with older adults.</li>\n <li>Experience in volunteering.</li>\n <li>Proven volunteer recruitment and management skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrated organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree preferred.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated compatibility with Presbyterian Homes’ mission, values and cultural philosophy.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>The estimated starting pay range for this role is $21.68 - $27.11 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role.
