Interprets a physician's scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.<br><br><br><strong><u>Principal Accountabilities:</u></strong><br><br><br>1. Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.<br>2. Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).<br>3. Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.<br>4. Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.<br>5. Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.<br>6.
