    "description": "<h2>Salary</h2>$27.00 / hr - $35.54 / hr\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Rates increase depending on years of certification - let's find out how much your experience is worth! <em>Also, ask us how to earn an additional premium rate when opting out of certain elective benefits!</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Full time or part time 2-10pm - Part time 10p-6a available.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Elderwood Assisted Living at West Seneca is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses, LPNs, (also known as Resident Care Supervisors) to join our team of clinicians and caretakers. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Resident Care Supervisor Overview:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This LPN position is responsible for assisting with medications and monitoring the personal care services provided by Resident Assistants; and reporting care and change in condition of residents to staff of next shift and Director of Nursing.</li>\n <li>Compensation Package includes Base Rate + Shift Differential + Opt Out (+11%)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Resident Care Supervisor Overview:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise/Administer and/or assist with medications to assigned residents; monitor monthly residents participating in self-medication program.</li>\n <li>Monitor the personal care provided by Resident Assistants.</li>\n <li>Assist Resident Assistants with direct care of residents, as necessary.</li>\n <li>Report to Director of Nursing change in condition, daily needs, and progress of residents.</li>\n <li>Follow the plan of care for each resident.</li>\n <li>Responsible for all aspects of receiving, storing and distributing controlled substance medications; ensure proper placement and use of medication stored by facility including med cart and medication room refrigerator.</li>\n <li>Maintain documentation regarding the provision of care to residents in the Case Notes, Medication Administration Records and other required records.</li>\n <li>Assist in problem-solving related to staffing, supplies and resident care during shift.</li>\n <li>Ensure that resident care standards are maintained in performance of duties, and that the rights of residents and preferences in care and treatment are respected.</li>\n <li>Receive and store lost/found articles and notify the Director of Nursing and/or Case Manager</li>\n <li>Ensure that residents are treated with respect and kindness at all times</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>From</h2>\n<h2>Up to</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Resident Care Supervisor Overview:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse with a current State license required.</li>\n <li>Experience in geriatric nursing preferred.</li>\n <li>Organizational skills and ability to supervise department staff effectively and work well with personnel of other departments required; ensures high standards of care are maintained.</li>\n <li>This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
