          "text": "<p>The Ministry Coordinator is responsible for providing operational support by managing logistics, communication, and follow-up tasks to enable effective discipleship, guest-experience, and outreach ministries, reporting to the Discipleship &amp; Guest Experience Pastor on the Congregation team.&#xa0; A full-time position, the schedule generally includes weekend services, meetings at our office in Irvine, and additional time during the week for a total of 40 hours.&#xa0; This position is nonexempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).</p><p>This role will primarily serve on-site at Union Rescue Mission on Sundays, supporting ministry efforts and engaging directly with the community. During the week, the coordinator will work out of the Irvine office, collaborating with the team, preparing for upcoming services, outreach initiatives, and managing administrative responsibilities.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Volunteer Coordination</strong></p><ul><li>Manage volunteer onboarding cycles, scheduling, and communications</li><li>Serve as primary point of contact for volunteer questions, needs, and recognition</li></ul><p><strong>Data &amp; Systems</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain and optimize the Rock database: update profiles, logs, and attendance</li><li>Run reports on volunteer engagement and guest-experience metrics</li></ul><p><strong>Weekend Support</strong></p><ul><li>Set up and tear down service materials, check-in stations, signage, and hospitality areas</li><li>Assist with on-site troubleshooting during services</li></ul><p><strong>Communications &amp; Resourcing</strong></p><ul><li>Manage the congregation newsletter and social-media updates</li><li>Assist in managing and distributing training content for Rooted/Life Group leaders, Guest Services, and Outreach teams</li><li>Draft and send volunteer and guest updates about events and service opportunities</li></ul><p><strong>Administrative Tasks</strong></p><ul><li>Perform general team support for the Lead Pastor and Discipleship &amp; Guest Experience Pastor</li><li>Schedule planning meetings, take notes, and track action items</li><li>Support budget tracking, purchase requests, and resource ordering</li></ul>",
