    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Machine Operator&rsquo;s main responsibilities are packing finished product (envelopes) into cartons while routinely checking quality. &nbsp; (<strong>This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)</strong></p><p>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Position Functions:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Repetitive handling and packing of envelopes into required packaging.</li><li>Some machines require a manual feeding process of cut blanks that must be loaded by the machine operator.</li><li>Pushes button to stop machine in case of malfunction or quality issues.</li><li>Fans handful of envelopes to inspect them for quality of folding, sealing, printing and gluing applications.</li><li>Counts pack of envelopes periodically to verify accuracy of mechanical counter.</li><li>Minimize waste by ensuring waste is segregated properly.</li><li>Assist machine technicians with simple tasks to get the envelope folding machine back to a run state.</li><li>Assist in the cleaning of assigned machine regularly.</li><li>Conducts offline cleaning of printer parts as needed.</li><li>Trained to operate all envelope folding equipment.</li><li>Review and understand customer requirements listed on the job jacket.</li><li>Communicate any pertinent information with the incoming and outgoing shifts.&nbsp;</li><li>Accurate completion of daily production reports.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul><p><em>This job description is intended to describe the general nature, complexity, and level of work to be performed by employees assigned to this position and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. &nbsp;It does not prescribe or restrict the work that may be assigned. &nbsp;Furthermore, this does not establish a contract for employment and is subject to change at the discretion of the company.</em></p><p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or GED required.&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.</li><li>Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.</li><li>Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills required.</li><li>Ability to read and understand job jackets.</li><li>Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.</li><li>Ability to adhere to all safety and quality procedures.</li><li>Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communications skills.</li><li>Must be able to work alone, and with a team.</li><li>Must be able to pass a drug screen, criminal background check and physical exam.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><p>The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
