          "text": "<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>The General Accountant is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of variable compensation accounting, and support the Accounting team with financial reporting. This role ensures accurate monthly accruals, timely payment processing, and complete alignment between financial reporting, payroll, and our software system. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR/Payroll teams.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Commission &amp; Variable Incentive Management</strong></p><ul><li>Own monthly, quarterly, and annual variable incentive programs, including MBOs, presale commissions, and sales commissions.</li><li>Validate sales performance data, compensation plan eligibility, and payout calculations.</li><li>Maintain and update Xactly Incent to reflect earned commissions, adjustments, clawbacks, and payment status.</li><li>Reconcile Xactly Incent outputs with internal financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.</li></ul><p><strong>Financial Reporting &amp; Accruals</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare monthly commission accruals in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.</li><li>Analyze commission trends, variances, and forecast impacts for financial reporting.</li><li>Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.</li><li>Partner with FP&amp;A to provide commission-related insights for budgeting and forecasting.</li></ul><p><strong>Payroll Coordination</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with HR and Payroll to ensure timely and accurate release of commissions and MBO payments.</li><li>Provide payroll-ready files, approvals, and documentation for each commission cycle.</li><li>Resolve discrepancies between payroll records, Xactly Incent, and accounting schedules.</li></ul><p><strong>Process &amp; System Management</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain commission plan documentation, workflows, and internal controls.</li><li>Support enhancements to Xactly Incent, including configuration updates, testing, and data validation.</li><li>Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline accounting workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.</li></ul>",
