    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a<strong> potential</strong> <strong>Remote</strong> opportunity for a <strong>Lead Physician Assistant or</strong> <strong>Nurse Practitioner </strong>for the United States Coast Guard (USCG).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Each Advanced Practitioner must possess:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A Doctorate or Master’s Degree in a medical field, such as Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or equivalent, from an accredited program.</li>\n <li>A current, unrestricted medical license in at least one (1) U.S. state relevant to the qualifying career path.</li>\n <li>Board certification PA or NP.</li>\n <li>Current credential or prior medical provider within the USCG healthcare network.</li>\n <li>A minimum of three (3) years of experience in medical record review, medical waiver adjudication, or military medical assessments.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with USCG and DoD medical policies, HIPAA compliance standards, and medical standard requirements for:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Approved USCG commissioning physicals</li>\n   <li>Retention physicals (PHA’s)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Minimum of One (1) year experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, including: o Cerner EMR, the primary USCG system for maintaining electronic healthcare treatment records.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>MHS GENESIS (MHSG), the electronic health record system used across the Military Health System.</li>\n <li>Joint Longitudinal Viewer (JLV), which provides access to integrated health histories across DoD, VA, and private sector partners.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional specialty certifications in emergency medicine or behavioral health.
