As an OSUP employee, you will be eligible for these various benefits depending on your employment status.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What will you do?</strong></p>\n<p>Under the direction of a Physician or Lead Physician, the Nurse Practitioner or Physican Assistant collaborates with physicians to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and evaluation of patients in an outpatient clinic setting; healthcare services provided include care during acute and chronic phases of illness, education and counseling of individuals and referral to other healthcare providers and community resources when appropriate. Responsible for coordination of care for clinic patients. <em>This is a float position. The APP will be providing support to 4 different clinics across the city to enhance patient access. </em></p>\n<p><strong>Some of the Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs history and physical examinations on new and return patients; establishes presumptive diagnosis; establishes the general workup of the patient by ordering appropriate laboratory studies and testing.</li>\n <li>Works in collaboration with physician in formulating treatment plans for health problems and follow-up.</li>\n <li>Conducts comprehensive or episodic health assessments and develops patient care plans within clinical nursing practice and medical care protocols. Reviews, assesses patient medications.</li>\n <li>Evaluates outcomes of care delivered to patients and initiates changes in the nursing approach accordingly.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant</li>\n <li>NP - Current Ohio Registered Nursing License.  </li>\n <li>Master’s degree in nursing and successful completion of an acceptable Nurse Practitioner education program, or Physician Assistant Program</li>\n <li> Certification to include Prescriptive Authority. </li>\n <li> Knowledge of triage procedures along with clinic, physician office and/or urgent care experience.  </li>\n <li>Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids. </li>\n <li>Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and/or families as to the nature of disease and to provide instruction on proper care and treatment.</li>\n <li> Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally.  High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.  </li>\n <li>Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.  </li>\n <li>Analytical ability and critical thinking to gather and interpret data and develop, recommend, and implement solutions. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred: Experience in Pediatrics.</p>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $103,725.00 - USD $165,038.00 /Yr.",
