    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>JP Cullen is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Traveling Site Engineer to join our Industrial Construction team. This role supports industrial construction projects across multiple job sites, requiring travel to actively manage and coordinate field operations in partnership with Project Managers, Superintendents, and project crews.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Traveling Site Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring industrial construction projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for a construction Site Engineer, Field Engineer, Project Engineer with a background in engineering or construction management who is eager to gain hands-on experience on complex industrial projects such as manufacturing, processing, energy, or heavy commercial facilities. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a willingness to travel are essential for success in this role.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform analysis of construction methods (crane reaches, formwork design, erosion control, and grading modifications).</li>\n <li>Produce miscellaneous sketches and drawings as required to show field conditions to the architect, clarify plan details for craft persons (e.g. lift drawing), proposing alternate details.</li>\n <li>Create layouts, lift drawings, and 3D models</li>\n <li>Operate laser scanners to capture as builts and develop models</li>\n <li>Verify quality and compliance of installation with specifications and drawings for all work.</li>\n <li>Process and expedite answers to RFI’s generated from the field. Once answered, complete the process by distributing information and following through to ensure correct incorporation of answers.</li>\n <li>Participate in and contribute to Operation Planning Process and weekly coordination meetings, superintendent meetings, daily crew huddles and foreman meetings.</li>\n <li>Organize schedule pre-installation meetings for any subcontractor with on-site labor. Prepare meeting agendas and ensure attendance by all parties. Conduct pre-install meetings.</li>\n <li>Prepare and monitor written delivery schedule log. </li>\n <li>As needed, inspect shipments of deliveries </li>\n <li>Project closeout – expedite punchlist, and track and verify that items on the punchlist are being completed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in a construction or related engineering field or equivalent or completion of an Apprenticeship and four years of construction experience.</li>\n <li>Exceptional communication and writing skills and proficiency in a wide variety of computer programs, with the aptitude and willingness to learn new software and systems.</li>\n <li>Appetite for challenges and fast career growth with responsibility and accountability.</li>\n <li>A track record of managing projects from start to finish with excellence</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel 33% of the calendar year across various states.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why JP Cullen?</h2>\n<p><strong>Location:  Depends on the project but home base is either Janesville, Madison or Milwaukee, WI.  </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Why JP Cullen? </strong></p>\n<p>At JP Cullen, we don’t just build structures; we create landmarks that stand the test of time.
