    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><span style='font-family: garamond, \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>POSITION SUMMARY: </span></strong><span style='font-family: garamond, \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>This is a non-tenure track full-time Clinical Faculty Instructor position<strong>. &nbsp;</strong>Coordinates clinical education and provides didactic instruction in the Radiation Therapy program. &nbsp;Serves as a liaison between the University and clinical affiliates. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style='font-family: garamond, \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</span></p><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>:</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">● &nbsp; &nbsp;Correlates and coordinates clinical education with didactic education and evaluates its effectiveness&nbsp;</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Participates in didactic instruction</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Supports the program director to ensure effective program operations</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Participates in the program accreditation and assessment processes</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintains current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintains current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensures clinical education compliance with program &nbsp;policies</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintains current clinical education site agreements</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Coordinates clinical practicum placements for students.&nbsp;</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintains communication with clinical education sites and clinical preceptors &nbsp;</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Orients new clinical affiliates, preceptors, and staff to programmatic requirements</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Oversees maintenance of student clinical records</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensures student clinical clearances are accurate and up to date</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Investigates and resolves complaints or refers issues to the program director</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Participates in department/college/university committees, consistent with the goals of the program and sponsoring institution</p><p>● &nbsp; &nbsp;Coordinates and facilitates annual clinical advisory committee meetings</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">QUALIFICATIONS: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Holds, at a minimum, a bachelor&rsquo;s degree (B.S.)</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Is proficient in curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, instruction, and academic advising.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Documents two years of clinical experience in radiation therapy</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Documents one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT- accredited program</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiation therapy</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Shall meet the criteria for the position as established by the sponsoring institution and accreditation agencies.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Shall be employed full-time as a program official, as indicated by accreditation agencies.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>\n",
