    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Summary:</strong><br>This position carries responsibility for the management of storeroom inventory as well as Supply&nbsp;<br>and Distribution, Mailroom and Print Shop for The Guthrie Clinic.<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong><br>This position requires a minimum of three years of management or supervisory experience as well as a&nbsp;<br>minimum of three years in a materials management related function (central supply, storeroom,&nbsp;<br>receiving, distribution, etc.) Candidate should have a strong knowledge of inventory systems and its&nbsp;<br>methodology. Must have a good knowledge / understanding of automated material management system.&nbsp;<br>Must have good communication skills to deal with people in multi-disciplinary teams. Must have a strong&nbsp;<br>computer background that includes working with word and spreadsheet packages.</p><p><strong>Education:</strong><br>Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school diploma and experience in supply chain management will be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong><br>1. Leads the department in the continuous improvement of the quality and productivity of supply and&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;distribution, mailroom and print shop.<br>2. Organizes department resources to ensure that customer requirements are met. &nbsp;<br>3. Measures and analyzes KPI and uses the resulting information to draw conclusions, develop&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;recommendations, implement action, and evaluate.<br>4. Prepares an annual operating budget for the department. Manages the activity of the departments<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;within the approved budgets. Develops a plan for capital expenditures required for departments&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;operation.<br>5. Develops the role of supervisors to achieve maximum effectiveness.<br>6. Develops the people employed by the departments through ongoing feedback, recognition, counseling&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;and discipline on an individualized basis.<br>7. Arranges appropriate education and training for staff based on requirements and identified&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;opportunities for improvement.<br>8. Engages in a process of professional continuous self-improvement.<br>9. Works with System Administrator for computer system operations on troubleshooting and testing.</p><p><strong>Other Duties:</strong><br>1. Represents the department externally as required.&nbsp;<br>2. Participates in hospital committees, projects and quality improvement teams as appropriate.<br>3. Adopts a plan of personal growth and development.<br>4.
