Skills: The required skills such as clinical documentation and maintaining accurate records are essential for ensuring compliance and continuity of care, and are used daily to track patient progress and treatment outcomes. Crisis management and crisis intervention skills are critical for responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations, helping to de-escalate potential risks and maintain a safe environment. Clinical assessments and discharge planning skills enable the technician to contribute valuable insights during patient evaluations and ensure smooth transitions in care. Mental health knowledge supports compassionate and informed patient care, allowing the technician to understand and address complex emotional and behavioral needs.
