          "text": "<p>The <strong>Project Technical Support Specialist</strong> is a technical expert responsible for defining and delivering tailored technical solutions for complex challenges within service projects— mostly Categories 4 (mechanical retrofit projects) and 5 (MRO services) service works, and occasionally supporting Category 3 (retrofit projects) - KVI´s categories. Acting as a key interface between design, procurement, manufacturing, and site teams, this role ensures that solutions are technically sound, feasible for site implementation, and optimized for cost, quality, and schedule. The specialist contributes from the tendering phase through to project execution, providing continuity, technical leadership, and risk mitigation for high-value work scopes.</p><p>In cooperation with the Technical Equipment Specialists, Account Management and Site Managers the Technical Support Specialist coordinates the service project according to contract and customer requirements.</p><p><strong>Solution Definition &amp; Cost Estimation:</strong></p><ul><li>Analyze client technical problems and define robust solutions in coordination with Account Managers, based on a deep understanding of plant operations and mechanical constraints.</li><li>Propose adapted technical solutions, referencing past projects, known issues, and best practices to ensure feasibility and mitigate risks.</li><li>Break down complex equipment adaptations into workable site phases (e.g., modular assembly, dismantling constraints, lifting strategy).</li><li>Collaborate with internal experts (design offices, field service, technical services) to validate technical assumptions and refine designs.</li><li>Estimate the full cost of the solution (design, manufacturing, logistics, installation, lifting, etc.) during the tender phase.</li><li>Identify and engage suitable suppliers and manufacturing partners (internal/external), based on technical and economic performance.</li><li>Act as the primary source of technical knowledge throughout the costing process to ensure accuracy and alignment with execution realities.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Execution Support &amp; Technical Coordination:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the technical deployment of the solution post-order, ensuring consistency with the defined scope and customer requirements.</li><li>Coordinate design deliverables with internal design offices and follow up on schedule and quality of outputs.</li><li>Supervise the procurement process alongside the Procurement team to ensure timelye ordering and alignment with technical specifications.</li><li>Organize and participate in supplier quality checks (e.g., inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests, FAT) to ensure compliance before site delivery.</li><li>Monitor cost, quality, and schedule of technical scopes under responsibility, adapting plans as needed in coordination with the site team.</li><li>Capitalize on lessons learned and standardize practices for repetitive technical solutions (e.g., extractors, grates, ducts), improving reusability across projects.</li><li>Oversee quality and progress with subcontractors or internal workshops to ensure production timelines and standards are met.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Compliance &amp; Collaboration:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure strict adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, internal policies, and external regulations.</li><li>Serve as a key technical bridge between the RSC, Account Management, Technical Service, Field Service, Spare Parts, and Manufacturing teams.</li><li>Facilitate knowledge transfer and alignment across projects and regions, reducing redundancy and ensuring consistent technical quality.</li><li>Actively collaborate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts or gaps in scope, documentation, or design assumptions.</li><li>Contribute to risk analysis and mitigation strategies for critical technical items.</li><li>Support internal continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging project learnings to optimize future executions.</li></ul><p>·</p><p><strong>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):</strong></p><ul><li>Accuracy and robustness of technical solution and cost estimation.</li><li>Timely and high-quality delivery of designand manufacturing deliverables.</li><li>Compliance with QHSE standards and internal processes.</li><li>Project cost, quality, and timeline performance (for technical scopes).</li><li>Reuse of solutions and technical standardization across projects.</li></ul>",
