As a company driven on customer service and a high-quality product, we strive to offer leading edge technology and our team of technicians are driven to provide the highest quality possible.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Echo NDE is currently seeking a certified NDT Technician with UT1/MT/PT this is a full time position to support operations in Foster Creek, AB.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Start date: June 2026</li>\n <li>2 weeks on; 2 weeks off</li>\n <li>Fly-in-fly-out from Edmonton or Calgary hubs</li>\n <li>Subject to fitness test and D&A requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Set up, calibrate, and operate UT, MT, and PT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable inspection results in field conditions. </li>\n <li>Perform surface and volumetric NDT Inspections using ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing methods in accordance with approved procedures and applicable codes/standards (e.g., ASME, CSA).</li>\n <li>Inspect welds, piping, pressure equipment, and structural components for discontinuities and defects. </li>\n <li>Interpret and evaluate inspection results against applicable acceptance criteria and clearly communicate findings. </li>\n <li>Accurately complete and submit field reports, ensuring all documentation is thorough, organized, and submitted in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Maintain a high level of safety awareness in dynamic field environments, adhering to all company and client safety policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Collaborate effectively with clients, operations teams, and other technicians to support efficient project execution.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ultrasonic Testing UT1 CGSB Certification </li>\n <li>Magnetic Particle Testing MT2 CGSB Certification </li>\n <li>Liquid Penetrant Testing PT2 CGSB Certification </li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience performing UT, MT, and PT inspections in field environments (oil & gas, pipeline, or industrial settings preferred).</li>\n <li>Strong working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, CSA) and ability to interpret acceptance criteria.</li>\n <li>Resides locally to Calgary or Edmonton, AB</li>\n <li>Willingness and availability to support call-out work, including evenings, weekends, and short-notice assignments.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and ability to travel to various job sites as required.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-demand environments with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail with solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.</li>\n <li>Physically fit and capable of working in various environmental conditions (heights, confined spaces, outdoor weather conditions).</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to complete clear and accurate field reports</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>Our employees enjoy a competitive and comprehensive total compensation package, including employer-paid benefits, RRSP with company match, employer-paid certifications, discounted fitness memberships, insurance options, employee assistance programs, and more!
