This role requires developing and implementing effective sales strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives. The Sales Manager will lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing training and guidance to enhance their performance and ensure successful sales outcomes. They will also design and manage sales incentive programs to boost team productivity and maintain high levels of engagement. Ultimately, the Sales Manager will play a critical role in expanding the company’s market presence and fostering long-term client relationships across the United States. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in regional sales management with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong knowledge of sales strategies, sales planning, and sales volume management. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a sales team effectively. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the 'Other Services (except Public Administration)' industry sector. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Advanced training or certification in sales management or leadership. Experience managing outside sales teams and multi-state territories. Proven success in designing and implementing sales incentive programs. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets. Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to improve skills, performance, and motivation. Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance data to adjust strategies and improve results. Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with company goals. Manage outside sales activities, including client visits, presentations, and negotiations. Design and implement sales training programs and incentive plans to drive team success. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management review. Skills: The required skills such as regional sales expertise and sales volume management are essential for analyzing market trends and setting realistic sales goals. Sales strategies and sales planning skills enable the Sales Manager to create actionable plans that drive revenue growth and market expansion. Leading sales and sales training skills are used daily to develop the sales team’s capabilities and maintain high motivation levels. Managing outside sales requires strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to build client relationships and close deals effectively. Additionally, knowledge of sales incentives helps in designing programs that reward performance and encourage continuous improvement within the team.
