          "text": "<p><strong>*** This position is contingent upon contract award ***</strong></p><p>SOSi is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>The contractor shall oversee metadata management, data lineage tracking, and regulatory compliance for all datasets stored within the Data Lake environment.</li><li>The contractor shall integrate Unity Catalog and Open Lineage methodologies to enhance discoverability, classification, and security of mission-critical datasets.</li><li>The contractor shall implement role-based access control (RBAC) measures, ensuring that authorized personnel access data per DoD and NIST 800-53 compliance guidelines.</li><li>The contractor shall submit the Data Governance &amp; Compliance Report, providing an assessment of data lineage, regulatory adherence, and metadata completeness.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>Active in scope TS/SCI.&#xa0;</li><li>Bachelor's&#xa0;degree&#xa0;in&#xa0;Data Management, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in data governance.</li><li>Possess the knowledge and capability to establish, enforce, and maintain data governance policies and frameworks across cloud-based and on-premises environments.</li><li>Proficient in metadata management, data lineage tracking, data cataloging, and regulatory compliance standards such as DoD IL-4/IL-5, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53 Rev.</li><li>Experience with data classification models, access controls, and policy-based data lifecycle management.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in developing and managing data governance frameworks, implementing metadata and data cataloging solutions, and ensuring compliance with DoD and IC data security policies.</li><li>Experience with tools such as Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, Alation, AWS Glue, or Azure Purview.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Desirable but not required certifications include Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), DAMA Certified Data Governance Professional (DGSP), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.</li></ul>",
