As an ASOTC Instructor, you will directly influence USSOCOM’s mission success by delivering sophisticated instruction on advanced skills programs, ensuring our forces are prepared for the most complex global environments.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Research, develop, and author</strong> comprehensive doctrine to support evolving Special Forces missions and instructional requirements.</li><li><strong>Deliver expert-level instruction</strong> to trainees, evaluating and counseling them on the subtle, difficult concepts of the subject matter.</li><li><strong>Prepare and execute</strong> complex field training exercises (FTX) across urban and rural CONUS environments, ensuring rigorous oversight and supervision.</li><li><strong>Coordinate and brief</strong> high-level military and civilian officials on program status, training outcomes, and mission readiness.</li><li><strong>Safeguard and account for</strong> all government property and strict adherence to proper handling of classified documents, ensuring zero loss or compromise of mission-sensitive materials.</li><li><strong>Operate in demanding conditions</strong>, maintaining performance during non-standard hours and in extreme environmental climates.</li><li><strong>Execute TDY travel</strong> in strict alignment with the established Course Schedule and Structure to support mission-critical training objectives across various locations.</li></ul>",

    "requirements_html": "<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Training Certification:</strong> Must be a graduate of the Advanced Special Operations Techniques Course (ASOTC) AND either the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC), SEAL Qualification Course, or MARSOC Raider Training Course.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of four (4) years of dedicated Special Operations experience.</li><li><strong>Instructional Knowledge:</strong> Proven skill in the TRADOC-approved Systems Approach to Training (SAT).</li><li><strong>Regulatory Expertise:</strong> Deep familiarity with USSOCOM training policies, Advanced skills, and current course doctrine.</li><li><strong>Physical Readiness:</strong> Must maintain a high degree of physical fitness, capable of moving 6 miles through various rough terrain in extreme heat or cold.</li><li><strong>Communication:</strong> Must possess excellent verbal communication skills to effectively instruct and evaluate trainees on complex subject matter.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Extensive Tenure:</strong> Ten (10) or more years of Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience.</li><li><strong>Advanced Leadership:</strong> Prior experience leading and supervising large-scale field training exercises.</li><li><strong>Subject Matter Expertise:</strong> Recent experience with the most current regulations governing Emerald Nomad and USSOCOM policies.</li></ul><p><strong>Clearance Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a <strong>Top &nbsp;Secret (TS) clearance</strong> prior to starting; current <strong>Secret</strong> level clearance with TS eligibility is required.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time while in a classroom setting.</li><li>Must be able to move 6 miles a day through various and rough terrain in extreme environmental conditions, including extreme heat and cold, while supporting field training exercises.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><em>Athenix Special Missions is a world leader in designing, building, and developing realistic training exercises for Special Operations, conventional forces, and partner nations.
