Learn more about our amazing facility at https://www.lecontemedicalcenter.com/about-leconte-medical-center/. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Completes nursing history and initiates patient education.</li>\n <li> Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members.</li>\n <li> Implements plan of care appropriate to diagnosis.</li>\n <li> Problem solves and coordinates unit/patient care assignments, with supervision.</li>\n <li> Introduces new employees/students to unit routines.</li>\n <li> Participates on unit-based committee/serves as council representative.</li>\n <li> Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.</li>\n <li> Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education </strong>            </p>\n<p>None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.</p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Experience:</strong>          </p>\n<p>New graduate within 1st year of orientation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Licensure Requirement:</strong>                  </p>\n<p> Valid Tennessee license.
